Nine EU funded H2020 projects will share their latest results about energy-related policymaking

These results will be presented in the session "Learning from experience and involving energy-citizens; two ways of improving energy-related policymaking" at the EU Sustainable Energy week (04-08 June 2018) in Brussels

n the context of the EU Sustainable Energy Week to be held in Brussels next 4-8 June 2018, our project will participate in a session titled "Learning from experience and involving energy-citizens; two ways of improving energy-related policymaking. This session will be held on Thursday June the 7th from 14:00 to 15:30

The session will be very much based on the latest results of the following nine (9) EU H2020 funded projects:

  1. COMBI: this project quantifies multiple impacts of energy efficiency beyond energy saving.  
  2. ECHOES: aims at providing a deeper understanding of individual and collective energy-related choices and behaviour to ensure that the Energy Union comes to life in the most efficient and effective way. 
  3. ENABLE: Understanding energy choices in transportation, heating & cooling, and electricity, empowering consumers to make freer and better-informed energy choices.  
  4. ENERGISE: an innovative pan-European research initiative to achieve a greater scientific understanding of the social and cultural influences on energy consumption.  
  5. ENTRUST: Focuses on the social dimension of the energy system, moving beyond the ‘energy as a commodity’ paradigm. 
  6. EPATEE: a project to improve the Energy Efficiency policies, by improving their evaluation.  
  7. ODYSSEE-MURE: Comprehensive monitoring of efficiency trends and policy evaluation in EU countries, Norway, Serbia and Switzerland.   
  8. PUBLEnEf: aims to assist European Union Member States in implementing effective and efficient sustainable energy policies (with the focus on energy efficiency) and empower them to make use of the best practices and policy processes implemented in other Member States at the national, regional and/or local level.  
  9. REScoop PLUS: aims to make REScoops in Europe go beyond their activities of producing and supplying energy and take up energy savings for their members as a new pillar in their organisations.
