H2020 Contractor's Workshop on Social Sciences and Humanities

A workshop will be held on October the 9th at INEA's premises in Brussels to discuss on the SSH aspects of the transition to a low-carbon energy system.

A H2020 contractor's workshop on SSH aspects of energy transition will be held next Tuesday October the 9th at the premises of the Innovation and Networks Executive Agency (INEA) in Brussels:

The workshop will involve five H2020 projects dealing with this issue:

  1. ECHOES (https://echoes-project.eu)
  2. ENABLE.EU (http://www.enable-eu.com)
  3. ENERGISE (http://www.energise-project.eu)
  4. PROSEU (https://www.proseu.eu)
  5. SMARTEES (http://local-social-innovation.eu)

The topics that will be covered include the following:

  • Role of consumers in the Energy Transition: what does the European Commission expect from the projects dealing with this issue and do projects expect from the EC.
  • A wiki tool to foster exchange between H2020 research projects focusing on the social aspects of the Energy Transition.
  • Presentation of 5 H2020 projects focused on these issues: ECHOES, ENABLE.EU, ENERGISE, PROSEU, SMARTEES.
  • Exploring potential synergies and overlaps between the aforementioned projects.
